Contract Negotiations Update: Contract language being finalized

Last Wednesday, June 1, the negotiating team members for Units 2, 3, 4, 6, 8 and 13 met to review draft contract language. The team made some suggested changes to clarify the language of the supplemental time off implementation plan. On June 7, HGEA met with the employer to finalize the language of the supplemental time off implementation plan.
We have received clarification from the employer that when the language for the master agreement is finalized, any employer jurisdiction will be able to negotiate with HGEA to modify these terms via supplemental agreements.
