Becoming an HGEA member is easy and has many benefits. Here's how to join.

Submit an application to become an HGEA member.

If you're a current state or county employee in bargaining units 2, 3, 4, 6, 8, 9, 13, 14 or 15, HGEA negotiates contracts on your behalf and helps enforce collective bargaining agreements. Retired state or county employees, private sector, non-profit employees and others can join as associate members.

Create an account on the HGEA website.

By creating an account, you can easily access your contract, salary schedule and other confidential union documents at home or on your mobile devices.

Stay informed about current news and events that affect your bargaining unit, upcoming events, recreational activities, member discounts, political activities such as sign waving, and more.
